Hello good friends,
This newsletter should have been sent a long time ago, but we had some terrible weeks!
Do you remember our beautiful church we build? Wel, some strange peoples burned it! Even our land was in ashes! Everything was black! Our children cried, we where so down....Why are people so against us? Why are they telling our sponsors that me and my husband will go back to Europe and leave the kids behind? Some are soooo jealous of our succes! Btw, if you should receive emails or hear rumours with this nonsens, please tell us. We want to know who is behind this.
So don't worry ,we still love our kids and Uganda! We will stay the rest of our lives!
We enjoy our kids so much! We are making big steps!
We won many medals on sportcompetitions. Our oldest Foodstep son Mike got married. Even our pastor has now a beautifull wife.
My lovely parents came to visit and the healt of Werner is going much better.
Our son Maxim started his own company and you can see him on tv with his own show. Our daughter Tra, has meetings with the famous people and designers of the world. So I am a very proud mama!
Also at Kampiringisa we were able to make a lot of children very happy! We were able to renovate all the tables and benches in the dining-hall. All the kids got new clothes and extra food. But for the girls we did something special . We bought new beddings, matressess and bedsheets. Also every girl received his own toilet bag with soap, bodylotion, comb, bra and nicker, sanitary pads. There where soooo happy! Its always good to see the kids happy.
Our friends in Home of hope are doing very wel! Not only with our kids, but all the children. Its always a blessing when we visit them!
So as you can see, we are all doing well and we go on with our dreams !
Many greetings from the kids .
We would like to give them a present with Sinterklaas. (A party for children ) for 1 euro or 1 dollar we can give every child = 1 pencil, 1 package of biscuits and 1 orange ( donations can be done on our regular Foodstep account)
Big hug,
Nathalie
