Dear friends and supporters,

Today has been an emotional journey, one that has left us both deeply grateful and deeply saddened. After more than a decade of perseverance, we finally have a road leading to our main entrance-a feat made possible by the efforts of the local government and our dedicated neighbours. The new road, constructed with a screeder, will bring much-needed comfort and accessibility to our home. This achievement fills our hearts with joy and hope for a better future.

Unfortunately, the day also brought a painful reminder of the challenges we face. Early this morning, we discovered that someone had entered our house, a place meant to be a haven, and stolen from us. They took money from my wallet-money meant to support Footstep's children and other essentials. This person, probably someone who knows our house well, violated our trust. Although the Kasenye Road local police have launched an investigation and deployed search dogs to identify the culprit, this is not the first time we have experienced such a betrayal. This must stop.

We ask for your prayers during this difficult time. Living in Africa is not easy. Progress is often slow, and setbacks can be discouraging.Yet we remain steadfast. We will not be defeated by those who seek to obstruct our path. With God's strength and your unwavering support, we will continue to overcome every challenge.Thank you for your support.May God bless us all.

With gratitude and resilience,
