For many years, Dent aid, our good friends, are giving free dental care to the poor people. Also this week end, they where at our Foodstep Home and at Kampiringisa! We thank them so much and especially Barbara, we mis you my friend! Xn

Today sports day at Foodstep! Even a girl netball team from Kampiringisa came to visit us. Most of the games were between kids and staff. We had an amazing day! Xn

Today general cleaning day at Foodstep! Everybody was helping! Xn
Today our boys did some community service. We cleared a road trough the bush. Now people can use this safe road to reach Victoria lake. Thank you Foodstep kids! Xn

After all the big problems we had of theft, murder, snake bite, burning our church, poisoning, abuse, false accusation, ....my ascari team is now accompanied by an amazing big , fully trained dog! So if you have the intention to attack Foodstep ....!!

Activities during the holiday = fun at foodstep!
The construction works for the 2nd vocational school are really coming along.
Wonderfull friends, I have terrible news! The last month there is a group of witchdoctors killing young woman and teenage girls. In our village Entebbe, 30 died. 10 of them in our street! In the beginning it was always in the evening hours, now even during day time!
They always kill the same way. They rape, kill, take organs out and impale the body on a wooden stick. Really unbelievable!!
Everybody is so scared! The police and army are patroling. Helicopters fly around, but still.....every day a woman dies.
The governement is taking this serious! Its every day on the news.
Our kids are not allowed to go outside. They need to walk in group. We have now 10 security guards, day and night. Girls need extra counseling. You can't trust anybody outside!
We don't want to scare our visitors or volunteers, but we take our responsibility to inform them. We can imagine they would cancel their visit to Uganda.
We continue to help the police and pray for peace. This witchcraft needs to stop, NOW!

Today we did a 'traditional Belgium drink". When you build a house and you reach the highest point of the house, you give all the builders a bear!
Our girls wing at Kampiringisa looks amazing! I am soooo proud, thanks to my amazing Foodstep team and the European Union. Xn
