Dear friends.
Today turned out to be a truly special day, and I wanted to share it with all of you. My husband, Werner, came across an amazing glass workshop where they make beautiful, handmade glass pieces—things like vases, wine glasses, lamp shades, and more. Many of these pieces are created by blowing the glass by mouth, which is such a unique and incredible skill. Werner surprised me by bringing home a beautiful vase, and it really touched my heart.
At the same time, my son Maxim also surprised me with a bouquet of white lilies—perfect timing! It felt so special to receive flowers from my son and a vase from my husband on the same day.
This experience got me thinking about Foodstep and how we’ve been making glasses from recycled wine and whiskey bottles to sell to visitors. I believe the glass artist, Mr. Amos, could be a wonderful teacher for the Footstep kids, showing them how to work with glass and learn a new skill. It would be a great opportunity for them to create something beautiful and meaningful.
I just want to thank all of you—our friends, family, and sponsors—for your continued love and support. We couldn’t do these projects without you. Your prayers and encouragement mean everything to us.
God bless you, and I hope you have a wonderful week ahead.
With love and gratitude,
Nathalie
